SUMMARY:Leonard Peverieri Airplane Auction

Airplane Auction to start at 11:00 am PST. These planes are from the personal collection of Leonard Peverieri. Leonard loved flying a multitude of planes by himself and with his friends. He had a passion for flying and collecting planes. \nLot 1: 1962 Piper Colt: What a beauty! This 1962 Piper has a great green/white paint scheme and a classy look. It is outfitted with a 108hp Lycoming 0-320 engine. The plane was purchased by Leonard restored and flyable. The 2023 annual will be completed by sale. Full log books.\nTail No. N5530Z\nSerial No. 28-7325362 \nLot 2: 1940 AT-6: A very rare find 1940 AT-6 that is absolutely beautiful. The AT-6 was a trainer plane for the military before putting pilots in fighter aircraft. It is powered by a P&W R1340 Wasp\, a 9cyl\, air-cooled. Engine hp ranges from 450-600 depending on the series. This polished aluminum aircraft is a MUST SEE as it is one of only two known surviving AT-6 N56737. Leonard loved this plane and flew it regularly but it has been 5 years since it has last been flown. There is a large number of parts that will go with the plane including props\, plane jacks\, and more. The plane will come with log books. No 2023 annual. \nTail No. N56737\nSerial No. 59-1945 \nLot 3: AT-6 Target Drone: Early 1940’s aircraft target drone. This type of drone was used for training models for ground air support. Leonard’s friends have said it was used with the AT-6. \nLot 4: 1960 Cessna Model 175A Skylark: This 1960 Cessna Skylark is partially restored. The plane was purchased in running/flying condition with his friends stating they had flown in the plane. The plane features new leather seats\, original avionics with bracketing and antenna for an iPad\, and new wheel pans. There is a set of new cylinders and pistons for this plane to be overhauled. Currently in non-running condition and being purchased as-is.\nTail No. N1172C\nSerial No. 56760 \nLot 5: 1966 Cessna 337A Super Skymaster: This plane was flown into Bend from Montana by Leonard and a friend. The 337A has a pair of 210hp Lycoming IO360SER engines powering the plane. The plane is believed to have original instruments. After being flown in\, Leonard pulled the interior out and prepped the plane for paint\, but didn’t make it any further. As is condition. Full log books.\nTail No. N5365S\nSerial No. 337-0465 \nLot 6: 1976 Aeronca 7DC Champ: This Aeronca Champ is outfitted with a 85hp Continental A&C 65 engine. It was running when purchased. With the purchase\, there is a new set of cylinders\, windows\, and Garmin Navcom. The dash appears to be original. Friends state that after the cylinders and windows are put in the plane is flyable and ready for an annual. Full log books included.\nTail No. N83989\nSerial No. 7DC-2675 \nLot 7: 1956 Aeronca L-3B (O-58B): This is a cool military plane needing restoration to be finished. They came with a Continental A&C65 engine. The plane was ground looped and has since been under reconstruction. It has new (unpainted) wings\, new prop and lots of parts. As-is condition. Full log books.\n\nTail No. N49271\nSerial No. 058B-12513\nLot 8: Revolution Mini 500 Helicopter: The Revolution Mini-500 has never been flown. It is a 1990s American single-seat light helicopter\, designed and built by Revolution Helicopter Corporation as a kit for homebuilding. The Mini-500 has a tubular steel fuselage with a foam and glass-fiber structure cabin. It has a two-bladed semi-rigid rotor and a conventional two-blade tail rotor. \nTail No. 325TC \nSerial No. 211 \nLot 9: Baby Great Lakes\, C85-12: The Baby Great Lakes was designed by Barney Oldfield\, and originally built by Richard Lane\, to be a scaled-down homebuilt derivative of the Great Lakes Sport Trainer. The Baby Great Lakes is built using 136 ft of steel tubing for the fuselage with aircraft fabric covering. The wings use spruce spars. The prototype was not intended to be produced in quantity\, but enough plans were requested that the aircraft was marketed as a homebuilt design. The rights to the Baby Great Lakes were acquired by Aircraft Spruce & Specialty Co in May 1996. Aircraft was in the process of being rebuilt but Leonard was never able to finish the job.  \nTail N0. N/A at this time \nSerial No. N/A at this time \nLot 10: 1992 Waco YMF: This plane crashed in May 2005 when it lost engine power during take off and crashed into terrain when attempting to come back to the runway to land. Leonard was in the process of restoring the plane but never was able to do so. This plane would be a beauty restored.\n\nLot 11: Waco Build: This is a complete restoration project with lots of parts to the plane.\n\nLot 12: 1956 Navion 225: This plane is being sold AS-IS. Friends believe the engine is in good condition\, The plane is non-flyable\, the interior has been removed\, it has bad fuel lines in the wings\, leaking hydraulic distributor box. There are no log books for the plane. Lots of parts for the plane including new interior parts and a reconditioned Hartzell prop. Does include the plane jacks in photos.\n\nLot 13: 1930’s Allison V-1710 Engine: What a great collector piece that is beautifully restored. The V-1710 gave the American plane engine manufacturers the first taste of 1\,000hp engines. The engine is a liquid-cooled 12-cylinder. The engine sits on a heavy rolling cart and has a very nice blue/red paint scheme. The paint does have some scratches. The V-1710 series of engines would be used in 60% of military planes at the time including the P-39\, P-40\, and the P-51A. Many more planes would use the V-1710 but with more power thanks to turbo-superchargers that allowed Allison to get engines to build upwards of 2800hp.\nMFR No. 4691 \nLot 14: Ranger V-770: The V-770 is a 12-cylinder\, inverted Vee\, air-cooled engine produced from 1941-1945 by the Fairchild Ranger Aircraft Engine Division of Fairchild Aircraft and Engine Crop. It features a two-piece aluminum alloy crankcase\, steel barreled cylinders with integral aluminum alloy fins and aluminum alloy heads. The V-770 was one pf the very few V-type\, in-line\, air-cooled engines to reach production. The engine was used in a relatively small number of Army Air Forces aircraft\, among them the AT-21 twin-engine trainer of which approximately 175 were built.\n\nLot 15: Franklin Model VO-335-5: In the 1940’s Franklin transformed from manufacturing cars to plane engines. This 6cyl\, 210hp\, vertical mounted engine was used to power the Bell TH-13M Sioux helicopter and the civil version\, Model 47. This engine comes on a rolling stand and appears to be a training or demonstration engine. Being sold AS-IS.\nTail No. N8880H\nSerial No. NAV-4-880 \nPhotos\n \n\nCLICK HERE TO BID\n  \nThe Prineville Hangar will be sold at 10:00 am and the Airplane Auction will begin at 11:00 am.
